The story behind Britzem.
Britzem blends my surname with the South African word bliksem — a crack of lightning, a jolt of energy, a spark that refuses to sit still.
It's the right name for how I work: bold innovation, decisive action, and relentless energy. I'm drawn to the messy gap between a great idea and a working product — and I love closing it. Strategy without a build is a slide deck. A build without strategy is busywork. I do both.
Based in Perth, Western Australia, I split my time between leading Stacksy and being a present husband and dad. The technology is the craft; the people are the point. Everything I build is in service of getting purpose-driven teams moving faster, with less friction and more clarity.
